The end of one semester.... The beginning of a new

Teaching in front of an audience is much like being on stage. The only thing is that the same audience comes twice a week for an hour and a quarter every time. The teacher/performer must be able to entertain/instruct/keep bust 25 students at a time all with different expectations/skills/needs. I finished last semester and did well according to my boss. It seems that I actually did do what I set out to do. I'm happy for the opportunity but do not want to do it again. Alas, I am not a traditional instructor.

E-Learning and Traditional

This semester I am teaching a distance education class and a traditional face-to-face class Technology for Teachers. I'm not sure how it will go, but my objective is to see how close the two can be to each other. My first hurdle is how to grade discussions without it being transcribed in ANGEL. Thursday I have the first in-class discussion. We'll see.
